Kayse Henry hold's a Bachelor of Science Degree in Middle Grades Education and a Master of Science Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from East Carolina University. She is a licensed speech language pathologist in North Carolina and holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA).
Kayse completed her student teaching and was immediately afforded an opportunity to teach 6th grade for the remainder of the 1997 school year. After teaching for only a short time, she decided to go to graduate school to become a speech language pathologist. After graduating with her master's degree in 2000, she began working for a private therapy company in Greenville, NC in a variety of pediatric settings. In 2004, after getting married and moving to New Bern, NC, she decided to open her own private practice called Speech Therapy Providers, which is presently Speech Therapy Plus, Inc. Kayse plans to expand her speech therapy business to include a variety of developmental, educational, and consultative services that include pediatric occupational therapy as well as physical therapy.
Kayse has a daughter who is 9 and a son who is 7. They are full of energy and consume most of her time when she is not working. Her favorite things include hanging out with friends, the beach, karaoke, cooking, country music, the color purple, and PIRATES!

Peggie Moffitt is a licensed speech language pathologist in North Carolina and holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA).
Peggie graduated from East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science in Speech, Language and Auditory Pathology (that's right...SLAP) way back during the quarter system. She was able to fill an interim position as a Speech Pathologist in the Washington City School system to complete the school year. The following Fall, she took a position in the Moore County Schools of North Carolina as Speech Pathologist for two years prior to returning to East Carolina to complete the Master of Science Degree in Speech, Language and Auditory Pathology.
While at East Carolina for the second time, she met her husband, got married and began working as Speech Language Pathologist in the Craven County School system. After moving to New Bern she remained with the Craven County Schools for the next five years and was offered the opportunity to work in the local hospital which is currently Carolina East Health System. Working with adults primarily, Peggie completed several years at the medical center in all areas of care including outpatient, acute inpatient, inpatient rehabilitation and home health as well as extended care facilities. During this time she also contracted with area assisted living facilities. Peggie's scope of services has included rehabilitation for neurodegenerative communication disorders, dysphagia/swallow disorders (adults and pediatrics), brain injury rehab and childhood communication disorders.
Peggie and her husband have been afforded the opportunity to travel across the U.S. a bit with his occupation. They have two daughters and currently one granddaughter that live in interesting to visit places like the mountains of NC and the gulf coast of Florida. Peggie enjoys spending time with family, trying to stay active, sailing, snow skiing, crossword puzzles, renovating (or at least dreaming/planning about it), keeping old friendships current and close, reading, Duke basketball and the PIRATES of ECU.
